What fragrances are available?

All fragrances listed on our "Fragrances" page are available. If you prefer a different scent, we can create it for you!

Which printer can use scent printing?

Scentific scent varnishes are delivered ready-to-use and can be refined by any printer worldwide.

Which printing methods can be used?

Our premium scent varnishes can be applied using any printing method: offset printing (web heatset and sheetfed), flexographic printing, screen printing, and gravure printing. Technical information for each printing method is available upon request.

What amount of varnish is needed?

Depending on the printing system, the application rate is 2 - 10 g/m^².

Which industries use scent advertising?

The cosmetics industry presents its products as fragrance samples to consumers. Other industries, such as food, tourism, and automotive, also use scent effects to enhance their advertising.

Why are printed materials enhanced with scent?

The response rate is significantly higher when scent advertising is used.

How large should the scent area be?

The size of the scent area is flexible. For optimal scent release, the area should be at least 5 x 5 cm^².

How is the scent released?

The scent is released by rubbing the scented area and can be perceived on paper and on the skin.

Can multiple scents be placed on one page?

Yes, this is possible. The scent areas should not overlap.

What is the shelf life of the scents?

Generally, the scents last as long as the promotional item itself.

What is the delivery time?

Scents that are in stock in sufficient quantities can be mixed and shipped within 5 - 10 business days. For custom scents, the delivery time is approx. 4 – 5 weeks after receipt of the oil (including sample strips for evaluation and approval).

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity for standard scents is 1 kg varnish, and for custom scents, it is 5 kg varnish.

Is there a recommendation regarding paper choice?

We recommend glossy, low-odor paper types. Natural paper should be tested beforehand.

Are the scent varnishes suitable for food packaging?
